A purchase agreement counter-offer for the sale of the administration building at $30,000 was approved at Monday’s meeting of the Tecumseh Public Schools Board of Education, and will be returned to Woda Cooper Development in the hopes that the transaction can move forward.

Family Farm & Home has announced that its 66th store will be coming soon to Tecumseh to occupy the 45,000-square-foot former Shopko building at 2655 W. Chicago Blvd. The store will be the retailer’s 46th Michigan location and is set to open in late February 2021.

After 36 years on the Boulevard, Dan and Barb Hacker of Hacker Jewelers, Designers and Goldsmiths, Inc. have been a fixture in downtown Tecumseh. Shoppers became more than casual customers and more like friends, which made the decision to retire a bittersweet one for Dan and Barb.
