Saturday night Karin Mukensturm got the call of a lifetime while she was sitting at home. The FaceTime call was from Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports to tell Mukensturm she was selected as a recipient for money from the Barstool Fund to use for her business, Muk’s Sports Pub.

The Dollar General store at 515 N. Evans St. reopened over the weekend, seven months after an arsonist set fire to a stack of toilet paper in the store and caused damages amounting to an estimated $1 million to the structure and contents, according to reports immediately after the fire.
