On Friday, Jan. 7, the student body and staff of Clinton High School were called to the school’s gymnasium for a brief assembly. Superintendent Jim Cracraft and Principal Kevin Beazley had an announcement to make. They quickly got to the point.

The Michigan Avian Experience (MAE), a nonprofit organization, visited Tecumseh High School on January 5. The organization is focused on education programs with the use of injured birds which are not releasable back into the wild due to their conditions.

On December 23 Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed House Bill 4294 to address the state’s substitute teacher shortage. The bill temporarily allows staff members such as secretaries, paraprofessionals, and others to work as substitute teachers until the end of the current school year.
