Tecumseh City Council changed course on Monday in regards to zoning for industrial hemp. Council had previously approved a zoning amendment that would grant Special Land Use for hemp processing facilities in I-1 industrial districts.

Final approval and adoption by Tecumseh City Council was given on Monday for a zoning change that may lead to the sale and renovation of the Tecumseh Public Schools’ administration building for

Tecumseh City Council was met with another standing-room-only crowd Monday at a study session meeting to review information on zoning, and specifically the OS-1 District and a proposal to open a homeless shelter for women and children next to Herrick Hospital.
