Tecumseh might soon lose its city manager to Monroe.
Dan Swallow, who has served as city manager since 2015, confirmed on Tuesday he was one of three candidates for the top spot in the city known as the home of General George Armstrong Custer and the La-Z-Boy recliner.

Tecumseh City Council approved a six-year capital improvement plan at Tuesday’s meeting, rescheduled from Monday due to President’s Day.
The estimated cost for the city’s capital improvement plan for the next fiscal year (July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024) is $2,472,917.
