TECUMSEH — Tecumseh lost Friday, but hasn’t lost faith.
The Indians (1-2) spoke optimistically after falling 55-28 against Pinckney in their Southeastern Conference opener, which was highly-contested until it got away from Tecumseh in the final minute of the third quarter.

Senior Aden Schmidt is the No. 1 singles player for Tecumseh’s boys tennis team this fall, plays an important role on the football team, maintains a 4.07 cumulative GPA and is on the student council.
In his remaining time, he’s also a cook at Marco’s Pizza for 10 to 12 hours per week.

Two Tecumseh parks are in the process of getting upgrades and Parks and Recreation Director Sarah Gilmore is thrilled to see the progress. The first visible change is a new timber frame pavilion at Evans Park, just north of the Evans Street bridge at Red Mill Dam.

Rescuing animals is a habit that Jessica Stretch’s family can’t break, and their pets hit the jackpot when it comes to tender loving care. Jessica, the Tecumseh Farmers Market manager and a realtor with Howard Hanna, said that either by chance or fate, sick or injured animals find the family.
