A meeting held February 7 by Tecumseh Area Chamber of Commerce Event/Market Coordinator Gaige Tucker brought almost 40 people to learn more about the farmers market at the Market on Evans and share their thoughts on what they’d like to see offered during this year’s season, which begins May 18.

Tecumseh’s Farmers Market, located at the Market on Evans, 213 N. Evans St., will open for the season this Saturday, May 20, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The market location is 1 1/2 blocks north of Chicago Boulevard in downtown Tecumseh and will continue through October 14 each Saturday.
