The curtain is coming down on the 2018-2019 season for the Tecumseh Center for the Arts (TCA) and this year’s performance has been a great one for the city-run theater, which hosted 92 events — up from 75 in 2017-2018.

Fans of both fiddling and step dancing will hit the jackpot Saturday, March 23, when Canadian fiddle and step dancing champions The Fitzgeralds will heat up the Tecumseh Center for the Arts (TCA) stage as part of the 2018-19 National Touring Season.

On March 14-17, Mary Poppins will gracefully descend on the stage of Tecumseh Center for the Arts (TCA), courtesy of Tecumseh Youth Theatre (TYT) and its production of the Broadway musical. Director Elizabeth Mitchell is guiding a local cast.

In June 2010 Michael Wigge left Berlin, Germany on a quest to travel for free to Antarctica, spending 150 days on a journey through 11 countries. He met his goal in November of that year after more than 100 people helped him along the way, providing transportation, food, and places to sleep.

The Tecumseh Center for the Arts (TCA) has been awarded a $15,000 Michigan Council for the Arts and Cultural Affairs (MCACA) project support grant for its 2018-2019 Michigan Homegrown Project, one of six Lenawee County organizations to receive funds for the 2019 fiscal year that begins October 1.

The Tecumseh Center for the Arts (TCA) has announced its 2018-2019 National Touring Season featuring five shows with a variety of high-caliber talent scheduled from November through April, and will give patrons a sneak peak Saturday, Sept. 22 during the Season Preview event.
