The Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) has been working for weeks on creating guidance for the return to school sports during the coronavirus pandemic, making sure it complies with Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s MI Safe Schools Roadmap.

On Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019, at the Lansing Ramada Inn and Conference Center, Ken Richard, varsity coach of the Tecumseh High School girls bowling team, earned the 2019 Girls High School Bowling Coach of the Year award. It was given by the Michigan High School Coaches Association (MHSCA).

Members of the Tecumseh Board of Education have debated pay-to-play (P2P) fees for several years. On Monday, in a 5-1 vote with Greg Johnson dissenting, the board voted to stop charging students who participate in school-sponsored sports.
