When the doors of the two U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III aircraft opened on August 1 at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, the precious cargo inside gave Americans throughout the world a sense of reverence and patriotism.

A large group of Tecumseh High School (THS) students walked out of class at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 14 to honor the memory of the 17 victims killed exactly one month from that date during a shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla.
