William Fred Bellmore

William Fred Bellmore, 75, passed away on May 23, 2016 at Tecumseh Place under Hospice of Lenawee with family at his side. William was born in Tecumseh, Mich., on April 24, 1941 the son of Robert F. and Ruth F. (Bubel) Bellmore. He married Linda Jean Klinger on October 21, 1972 in Goldfield, Iowa.

William was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Tecumseh. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, a member of the Voiture Locale 997 40/8, Britton American Legion Post No. 155 and VFW Post No. 4187 of Tecumseh. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed playing golf and reading and loved to watch U of M hockey. During school he played football and ran track for Maquoketa High School in Iowa. William will be dearly missed by his family.

William is survived by his loving wife, Linda; his son, Patrick (Erica Chapman) Bellmore of Ann Arbor, Mich., and grandson Samuel Bellmore; his brothers, Donald Bellmore of Mesa, Ariz., and Jim Bellmore of Maquoketa, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Roberta Conklin and Sally Faulhaber.

Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions in honor of William may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
