Wendell Harry Withrow

Wendell Harry Withrow, 56, of Tecumseh, Mich., died Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the VA hospital in Richmond, Va. He was born April 13, 1960 in Tecumseh, Mich., the son of Harry and Lois (Crowell) Withrow. Wendell loved bowling and was a member of the Michigan State USBC Youth Board and the Lenawee Co. Youth Bowling Association. He was also a proud veteran of the U. S. Army.

Along with his parents he is survived by three daughters, Mary and Samantha Withrow and Melissa Motylinski; two sisters, Candace Adams and April Qader; a brother Charlie Withrow; one granddaughter, Katherine Sullivan, along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Withrow.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 11 a.m. at The Covenant Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Tecumseh, Mich., with military honors under the auspices of Tecumseh American Legion Post No. 34 and Tecumseh VFW Post No 4187. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Palmyra Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Dutch Creger Scholarship Fund or to the family.
