Detectives are currently looking for a local 50-year-old white male, who has been missing since November 25. Crime Stoppers of Lenawee is asking for the public’s help regarding any information that may lead to the location of Edward Allen Monday from Adrian.

At 9 a.m. on November 25, Monday left his residence at Lee Villa Estates to go to work in Adrian. Around 10 a.m., Monday’s girlfriend attempted to contact him. He did not answer her call. Sometime around noon, Monday sent a text to his son to discuss plans for Thanksgiving. He has not had contact with anyone since.

Family members say this is out of character for Monday. Monday is 5’4, weighs 150 pounds, and has blue eyes and brown hair. He wears glasses, has a goatee, and wears a diamond in his left ear. He was last seen wearing a brown flannel shirt, blue jeans, and boots. At this time, detectives are actively looking for Monday in Michigan and Ohio.

On Friday, Dec. 4, Monday’s pickup was located on the corner of M-50 and Rogers Highway in Tecumseh. The vehicle had sat abandoned there for several days and was unlocked. The vehicle has been taken to the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office for processing. Monday remains missing and is still considered a missing person. Officers have searched the area where they found the vehicle on foot, as well as used a helicopter and a tracking dog in their search for Monday.

Monday just opened a small grocery store known as Main Street Market, located at 145 S. Main St. in Adrian last summer. He also served as the market master for the Adrian Farmers Market.

Jack Welsh, Lenawee County Sheriff, says currently there is no new information about Monday’s whereabouts. “We’re just following up on tips we’ve had and talking to people,” Welsh said. “We have nothing to indicate foul play.”
