Thomas Michael “Tom” Fasl

Thomas Michael “Tom” Fasl, age 64, of Tecumseh passed away on April 6, 2014 at home surrounded by his family under the care of Hospice of Lenawee. He was born October 18, 1949 in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Henry L. and Rose E. (Pilsl) Fasl. Tom married Lynn Kraly on December 22, 1975 in Antwerp, Ohio and she survives.Tom had worked as an Engineer at Milan Metal Systems for 25 years. He served his Country in the United States Navy from 1968-1974. Tom was a member of the Tecumseh American Legion and enjoyed spending time on the computer. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandson Judd. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.In addition to his wife, Lynn; Tom is survived by his son Joseph M. Fasl of New York, N.Y., and his daughter, Kathryn A. Fasl and her husband, James P. Stepanian-Bennett of Berkley, Mich.; his brothers John H. (Kathy) Fasl and Kenneth G. (Megen) Fasl, his sister Mary Lou (Dave) Smokowicz; and his grandson, Judd J. Bennett. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his infant brother Henry L. Fasl.A memorial service to celebrate Tom’s life will be held Friday, April 11 at 2 p.m. at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes, with visitation from 12, Noon, until the time of service with Chaplain John Kottke officiating.
