Thanks supporters of CAT’s Art in the Park

To the Editor,The 3rd Annual Art in the Park fair was a tremendous success thanks to the efforts of many staff, volunteers, organizations and businesses. It was truly a collaborative effort!Thanks to our talented artists who made this fair such a success — Ann Raczkowski, Deb Hoffmaster, Sharie Cannon, Carl Quinn, Cheryl Hogue, Aleesa Bailog, Megan Lunsford, Phil Lunsford, Rebecca House, Cynthia Tesznar, Jean Lash, Shirley and Bryan Van Benschoten, Kari Morningstar, Mari Pruks, Tim Stachlewitz, Sharon Sunday, Lynn Eckerle, Robb Johnston, CJ Bauschka, Linday Mylek, Mike Thomsen and Bernie Dominique.Special thanks go to Michigan Council for the Arts and Cultural Affairs for their minigrant. Heartfelt appreciation goes to First Federal Bank, The Tecumseh Herald and Floraworks for their continuing support of this event. We appreciate the donations of Busch’s Supermarket, Ousterhout’s Flowers and the Flower Depot for their contributions.We had wonderful support from our volunteers — Brian Schick, Tom Meyer, Mary Tommelein, Penny Brooks, Patricia Rhoades, Patricia Sanders, Jim Lincoln, Mary Vallad, Judy Smiddy and Maureen Lochey. We appreciate the help of the high school students and their Communities In Schools coordinator, Liz Fraker. Thanks to Jill Shaffer, Marjorie Castle and Anne Flora for art the demonstrations.
