Tecumseh Pops Orchestra & Community Chorus cancel Annual Spring Concert at TCA

Tecumseh Pops Orchestra & Community Chorus would like to thank our wonderful community for their awesome support of the arts for the past 39 years.

Pops was so excited, preparing for “An American Folk Tapestry!” Hopefully, this fun-filled concert including a WashTub Band and much more, will be presented next spring, with several arrangements written by Chorus Director, Tom Hodgman. The orchestra is also very anxious to welcome music director and conductor Joe McInchak to the podium!

We are extremely disappointed we won’t be able to present our Annual Spring Concert, May 3, due to the protective measures needed during the Covid-19 alert. It would not be advisable for our orchestra and chorus membership, composed of all ages, to be in close proximity at rehearsals. Our rehearsal space at Tecumseh High School is currently closed until April or perhaps longer. So, we will keep practicing privately and positively look forward to our 40th season!

“There is one driving force that brings us together, and that is the love of music!” This has forever been the Pops motto and  also includes our devoted community!

Keep enjoying good music and stay healthy! Remember, Tecumseh Pops presents two concerts the first two Sundays in December and May. These future concerts are currently scheduled to be December 6, 2020 and May 2, 2021 at The Tecumseh Center for the Arts.
