Ronald J. Gurtzweiler
Ronald J. Gurtzweiler, age 78, of Tecumseh, passed away October 4, 2016.
He was born January 24, 1938 in Summerfield Township, Michigan, the son of Ronald and Marguerite (Williams) Gurtzweiler. On July 7, 1963, he married Karen E. Helwig at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Adrian. She survives.
Ronald was employed with Ford Motor Company, Saline Plant, retiring in 1997. He loved bowling and golf.
In addition to his wife Karen, he is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Kay Gurtzweiler and Suzanne Marie Gurtzweiler; two sons, Michael James (Rachele) Gurtzweiler and David William Gurtzweiler; three grandchildren, Maximus Alexander Figueras, Kaelyn Grace Figueras, and Logan Ronald Gurtzweiler; and sister, Patrica E. Heiden.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Shirley A. Payeur.
Final resting place is at St. John’s Cemetery, Adrian.
Arrangements were entrusted to J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
