Robert Dean Seizert
Robert Dean Seizert, age 91, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2016 at Cambrian Assisted Living in Tecumseh, Mich. He was born on February 4, 1924 in Adrian, son of the late Clarence and Marian (Donaldson) Seizert. On April 28, 1972 he married Annie Eileen Holt and they shared 44 loving years together.
Robert was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Adrian. He retired from Exxon Mobil where he was employed as a consultant. He enjoyed boating, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his wife Eileen, Robert is survived by one son, David Seizert of Blissfield; one daughter, Shirley (Gary) Honeycutt of Tecumseh; two brothers, Samuel Seizert of Novi and Garry (Barbara) Seizert of Detroit; one sister, Elaine Huff of Canadaigua; three grandchildren, Rob (Tabitha) Crawford, Ryan (Tricia) Crawford, and Lisa (Bryan) Osborne; four great-grandchildren, Courtney Crawford, Drake Crawford, Carlie Crawford and Victoria Quick; and two great great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service was at Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Greg Burdine and Rev. Sam Seizert officiated. Burial was at Palmyra Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
