Ralph H. Meyer

Ralph H. Meyer, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away unexpectedly on October 8, 2016 at his residence at the age of 67. He was born in Ypsilanti, Mich., on July 22, 1949, the son of the late William and Amanda (Roehm) Meyer. Ralph married Donna Jean Guire in Florida on March 11, 2003.

Ralph was a skilled repairman on automotive, equipment and home repairs. He enjoyed auto restoration, farming, gardening, wild game hunting, archery and played the coronet. He was a talented actor who loved to act and was in more than 50 films in theater and television. Ralph was a kind, caring person who loved his family.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Donna; his two sons, Tyson Meyer of Tecumseh and Derek Meyer of Tipton; his two grandchildren, Tanner and Kane Meyer; his brother, Stanley (Janice) Meyer of Florida; his sister, Vivian Phillips of Ypsilanti and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for Ralph was held on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016 at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
