Raisin Twp. death investigation
Michigan State Police are investigating the death of a Raisin Township man after being dispatched to a home on Rogers Highway on Tuesday, July 19 at approximately 6:30 p.m., in response to a 911 call reporting that a male subject was deceased at that location. The body of 73 year-old Mirl Enos Henry was found in the back yard of the property with a gunshot wound to his chest. The incident remains under investigation and an autopsy will be performed by the Lenawee County Medical Examiner’s Office.
There is no indication that there is a public safety threat related to this event. Assisting Michigan State Police Troopers were deputies from the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office, Tecumseh Police Department, Raisin Township Police Department, and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
