Public needs to be educated about importance of bees
To the Editor,Please keep on growing milkweed plants. The Monarch butterfly is on the danger list of becoming extinct. The Michigan and National Garden Clubs are encouraging all clubs to plant milkweed for them to multiply. You can find more about them on the garden club website.Also, the bees are the other focus of the garden clubs because they too are on the wane. Without them, as you know, there will be no food! You might contact the Tecumseh Garden Club and see what they are doing to encourage both of these problems. The public needs to be educated and participate! Even school children can learn and help.
