Patricia Mae Dixon
Patricia Mae Dixon, age 90, of Tecumseh, passed into the hands of her Lord and Savior on October 27, 2016 at Tecumseh Place. Patricia was born March 23, 1926 in California the daughter of Harry M. and Winifred (Randall) Curry. On August 17, 1957 she married Calvin Dixon, Jr. and he preceded her in death January 7, 2016.
Patricia was a waitress at various restaurants and retired from the Country House restaurant. She was active in the Tecumseh Missionary Baptist Church for many years and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for many years.
Patricia is survived by one son, Gary (Darlene) Maynard; stepdaughter, Sallie Adams; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin; parents; daughter, Cheryl Logan and a grandson, Michael Ross.
Funeral services will be 12 p.m. (noon) Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016 at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Pastor Brian Jones officiating.
Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh.
Visitation was from 4- 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016 at the funeral home.
