Michael Robert Maynard
Michael Robert Maynard, 28, (3/21/1988 – 8/1/2016) the son of Marvin and Delores Maynard, stepson to Rebecca Maynard Ries and the brother to Kevin, Gregory and David.
Michael was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Mich., and at the time of his death resided in Newburgh, Ind., where he was employed by Toyota Motor Company. Michael attended Saline Schools, graduated from Sand Creek High School and also attended Eastern Michigan University. Michael had a special place in his heart for the love and help he received from Keith, Della, Brad, Brian and Dereck Benschoter and his grandparents Lois and Harold Righter.
He was preceded in death, by his grandmother, Edna Maynard and grandfather, Harold Righter.
Services will be held Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016 at the St. Joseph Catholic Shrine, 8743 U.S. 12, Brooklyn, Mich., (517) 467-2183. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with a service at 11:30 a.m. Father Bob Pienta will be officiating the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made out to Marvin Maynard in Michael’s memory.
