Matthew Thomas Brady

Matthew Thomas Brady, age 57 of Tecumseh, passed away at his home, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born to the late Arnold and Virgie (Etchison) Brady on October 8, 1959 in Yakima, Wash. He was united in marriage to Michelle Marie Evans on December 31, 1980 in Wagoner, Okla.

Matthew was a charter member and very active in Covenant Evangelical Presbyterian Church, where he served as an Elder and worked in the youth ministry. He enjoyed fishing and his grandchildren.

Matthew was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many, who will be loved and remembered by all.

Matthew is survived by his wife, Michelle, their children, Matthew (Kristen) Brady of Brocton, N.Y., Tyler (Margarita) Brady of Tecumseh, Mich., Stephanie (Jared Knotts) Brady of Ypsilanti, Mich. and Nathan (Cassandra Brown) Brady of Tecumseh, Mich.; grandchildren, Keara, Isaac, Hatti and Aidan; his brother, Arnold “Butch” (Dorie) Brady of Bedford, Texas; and a nephew Brian (Nikki) Brady of Huntsville, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life for Matthew will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Covenant Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Tecumseh, Mich., at 11 a.m. with Pastor Richard Mortimer with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
