Louis Schwab Schneider

Louis Schwab Schneider, 63, of Tecumseh passed away 19 September at Provincial House in Adrian after a prolonged illness.

Louis was born April 4, 1955 to Louis and Rosemary (Schwab) Schneider in Tecumseh.  A 1973 graduate of THS, Louis studied computer science at Western Michigan University and worked as a computer systems analyst and independent consultant.  An outstanding friend to many, he was loyal, generous, witty, talented, and a totally unique presence who lived life with enthusiasm and gusto. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. With the exception of a few brief periods of his life, Louis always lived in Tecumseh where he was close to family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his very dear companions, Teresa Baugh and Daniel Knisley. Louis is survived by his sisters, Connie Towey, of Martinez, Calif., and Elizabeth Rymph, of Tecumseh; his niece Alice; nephews Patrick and Christopher; and many special friends including Jay Baugh and Mark Huff.  Please keep them in your thoughts.

There was an opportunity to gather and share our memories of Louis at the Handler Funeral Home in Tecumseh on Tuesday, 22 September, from 5 until 8 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Louis’ name may be made to Promedica Hospice, 1070 N.
