Linwood L. Wimple
Linwood L. Wimple, age 87, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home. He was born August 14, 1928, in Onsted to Lilburn and Margaret (Reed) Wimple. He was married to Olive Davis-Wooden. She preceded him in death.
Linwood is survived by two sons, Jim (Karen) Wimple of Adrian and Ron (Sharon) Wimple of Tecumseh; a daughter, Deborah Huffman of New Mexico; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Larry (Doris) Wimple of N.C.; and a dear friend, Helen Baker of Jackson.
In addition to his wife, Olive, he was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Doralene Havens.
Funeral Services were held Saturday, April 23, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home, Onsted with Reverend Sue Vandercook officiating. Burial was in Maple Shade Cemetery, Onsted.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 22, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home, Onsted and also on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home, Onsted.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian.
