LeAnn Underwood Smith
LeAnn Underwood Smith, age 54, of Clinton passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019 at her home. She was born March 23, 1964, in Adrian, the daughter of the late Louis Edward and Linda Lee (Hughes) Underwood, Sr. On September 9, 1983, at the Clinton United Methodist Church she married Samuel Robert Smith and they shared 35 years together.
LeAnn’s life centered around raising her three sons and she loved attending their sporting events. When she wasn’t making memories with her sons, she enjoyed going shopping. She attended the Ogden Church in Adrian.
In addition to her husband, Sam she is survived by her three sons, Brandon Louis Smith of Tecumseh, Jared Dwight Smith and Nathan Lee Smith both of Clinton; three brothers, Lance (Linda) Underwood of Clinton, Chad Williams of Ypsilanti and Jason (Kari) Williams of Williamston, Mich. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Lou Mulberg and a brother, Louis Underwood, Jr.
Visitation for LeAnn was Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019, at the Clinton Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes. The funeral service was Monday at the Clinton United Methodist Church with Pastor Brandon Rickard officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
