Larry Crittenden

Larry Crittenden, Raisin Township, 79, passed away June 21, 2017 with family and friends at his side.

Larry attended Bowling Green University where he obtained his Master of Education Degree.  Larry was a public school teacher for 34 years, most of those years teaching at Tecumseh High School.

He was an active member of the Clinton United Methodist Church, where he was treasurer and coordinator of numerous church suppers and other events.

His interests included family, reading and history.  He devoted 40-plus years serving as a trustee of Raisin Township government, eight years as Township Supervisor.

Larry is survived by his wife of 55 years, Judy Crittenden; daughter, Kelli Glenn and spouse, Mike; son, Jay Crittenden; and three grandchildren, Amber and Aaron Glenn, and Kacey Crittenden; sister, Patricia Meier and spouse (Dale); brother-in-law, George Hawkins and spouse (Lynda); sister-in-law, Nancy Eldred; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service/celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the Clinton United Methodist Church. Casual dress appropriate.  

Final resting place will be Macon Cemetery, Macon, Mich.
