James Francis Quigley, JR.
James Francis Quigley, Jr., age 64, of Tecumseh, passed away December 2, 2014, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor, after a short illness.Jim was born October 31, 1950, in Lansing, Mich., the son of James and Barbara Quigley. Jim graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1969 and attended Michigan State University. In June 1988, he married Kathryn Jewell in Tecumseh, Mich., and she preceded him in death. For many years Jim worked at the former Lawson TV in Tecumseh.Jim enjoyed playing and fixing guitars, anything electronic and the many pets that he had.He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.Jim is survived by three sisters, Ann (Tony) Greca of Pinckney, Mich., Carol Quigley-Fielder of Adrian, Mich., and Laura (Dan) Quigley-Hobbs, of Holland, Mich., two nephews, one great nephew; a great niece; two sister-in laws and a niece that was a special helper. In addition to his wife, Kathryn, he was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Julia Quigley.Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Rev. Lance Ness officiating. Visitation will be from 12 p.m., noon, until the time of service at 2 p.m. Condolences to the family may be made online at www.pursefuneralhome.com.
