James Allen “Casey” Seely
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 26 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home for James Allen “Casey” Seely, 77, Tecumseh, Mich. He died at 3:05 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, in the Toledo Hospital at Toledo, Ohio. He was born July 2, 1939, to Glen D. and Kate Seely.
Seely was a 1959 graduate of North Adams High School and an avid Michigan University fan. Before his retirement he was employed by Tecumseh Products.
Surviving are a brother, D. G. (Jeri) Seely of Milford, Ind.; and three sisters, Phyllis D’Addio of Hickory Hills, Ill., Beatrice (Jim) Shaner and Nancy Kimmel, both of Chandler, Ariz.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Rhetta Sturvevant of Tecumseh and Susan Seely of Hillsdale.
Pastor Brian Fath of the Gate of Grace Ministries presided at the service with burial following in the North Adams cemetery.
