Indian girls golf team picks up first win of season

Tecumseh High School’s varsity girls golf team recorded its first victory of the season against Southeastern Conference White Division foe Chelsea at Reddeman Farms Golf Course. The Indians defeated Chelsea 219-231.Tecumseh junior Paige Rupley led all golfers at the match with a round of 46 while senior Ashley Barth had the second lowest score with 50. Alyssa Halasz carded a 58 for the Indians.The Indians (2-0 SEC) followed with a 206-242 win at home against Lincoln on Monday.Barth led all golfers with a 49 while senior Kara Warman and Rupley each carded 50. Tecumseh sophomore Alyssa Halasz carded 57, junior Maggie Liuska scored 59, and sophomore Claire Franco rounded out the Indian scoring with a 61.
