Horses and Humans 101

Lenawee Therapeutic Riding and professional horseman, Jan Vescelius, will guide you through the basics of horse breeds, riding disciplines, training, and care. How does a horse learn? The Equicizer (mechanical horse) will be coming to the library so you can practice basic equitation skills and body mechanics. Learn about how equine assisted activities can help people with physical, cognitive, behavioral and social issues.
