Glimpses into Lenawee County's Past

Local historian Brenda L. Burkett, author of "Lenawee County," will speak about the abundant forests, prairies, hills, lakes and streams surrounded by uncultivated fruit, berries, nuts and wild game, which enabled the county to lead the state in agricultural and industrial wealth by 1900. Explore the fencing industry in Adrian, the agricultural development of celery in Tecumseh and Michigan's first cheese factory in Fairfield Township.
