Freddie Mae Stalls

Freddie Mae Stalls, age 85, of Tecumseh died Thursday, Nov. 05, 2015, at ProMedica Herrick Hospital. She was born February 19, 1930, in Harrell, Ark., to William Thomas and Pearly Lee (Gann) Oliver. On March 16, 1952, she married Robert Hamilton and he preceded her in death on December 13, 1986. On August 19, 1988, she married Lonnie Stalls in Tecumseh and he survives.

Freddie Mae was a founding member of the Tecumseh Missionary Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for many years. She enjoyed swimming, taking walks and watching the birds, especially the blue birds.

In addition to her husband, Lonnie, she is survived by fours sons, Paul (Anita) Hamilton of New York City, N.Y., Larry (Peggy) Stalls of Moulton, Ala., Randy (Opal) Stalls of Albuquerque, N.M. and Jeffrey (Cindy) Stalls of Superior, Wis.; four daughters, Nancy (Nick) Hebert of Tecumseh, Barb Hamilton of Tecumseh, Debbie (Phil) Otter of Tecumseh and Cheryl (Dave) Gramling of Clinton; grandchildren, Nicole (Jeff), Nicholas (Erika), Margaret (Andy), Holland, Trevor (Elizabeth), Tanner (Elizabeth), Jennifer, Mark (Sherry), Lori (Mitchell), Aaron (Amanda), Garrett (Michelle), Shawn (Amy), Brett, Heather, Kimberly, Brooklyn and Haley; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Joseph, Cooper, Aubree, Makenzie, Austin, Charlie, Tyler, Hannah, Abby, Carly, Alexis, Ashlynn, Teagan, Josh, Hayden, Ryan and a great-granddaughter due in February. 

In addition to her parents and first husband, Robert, she was preceded in death by her twin brother, Robert Ray, half-brother, Emery Oliver, daughter, Sandra, and grandchildren, Josh, Amy, Chad, Zach, Riley and Chelsea.

Funeral services for Freddie Mae were held at 12, noon, on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015, at the Tecumseh Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Brian Jones officiating. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery.

Visitation was held on Tuesday from 10-11:45 a.m. at the church.
