Frank Benjamin Doman

Frank Benjamin Doman, age 91, of Tecumseh, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Hospice of Lenawee in Adrian, Mich., surrounded by his family. He was born on October 4, 1926 in Detroit, Mich., the son of the late Casimir and Jenny (Oklat) Domachowski. Frank was a graduate of Wayne State University where he received his degree in pharmacy. On August 23, 1947 he married Alice Nowodworski at Our Lady Queen of Angels in Detroit. They shared 70 wonderful years together. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army and was a former parishioner of St. Anselm Catholic Church in Dearborn Heights, Mich.

Over the years, Frank owned several pharmacies, the last one being in Detroit which he owned for 25 years. He was an avid fisherman and photographer.  However, his real passion was his wife and children.  He was dedicated to making certain that all of his children received the best  education available.  All of his children obtained post graduate degrees in the medical and legal professions.

Along with his wife Alice, Frank is survived by his children, Laurence B. (Susan) Doman of Dearborn, Mich., Francis G. (Julie) Doman of Chelsea, Mich., Daniel R. (Tammy) Doman of Tecumseh, Mich., Jon P. (Mary Karen) Doman of New Boston, Mich., and Scott M. (Maria) Doman of Tecumseh, Mich.; grandchil-dren, Jessica L. Doman, Gabriel L. (Angela) Doman, Christian R. Doman, Madison L. and Ellie F. Doman, Nicholas B. (Jessica) Doman, Danielle M. (Trevor) Joyce, Brett A. Paterson, Chelsea (Brett) MacIver, Timothy A. (Ania) Doman, Michael B. Doman, Elizabeth A. Doman, Andrea Ramirez, Leslie Torres and Joshua Doman; great-grandchildren, Lola A. Doman, Eliot L. Doman, Tyler Doman, Boede MacIver, Dean MacIver and Thomas Doman.

A funeral service for Frank was held on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes and military honors followed under the auspices of American Legion Post #34 and VFW Post #4187. Visitation was from 12 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Inurnment was at Brookside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee.  Condolences may be offered to the family at
