First Lenawee Junior Golf Tour competition held at Raisin Valley Golf Club

TECUMSEH — The Lenawee Junior Golf Tour held a competition at Raisin Valley Golf Club on Tuesday, June 16, despite half the course being washed out.Golfers who played 18 holes played the front nine twice.In the fourth-to-sixth grade division, Lauren Swiggum (LCS) scored 58 while Kyleigh Ramos (Clinton) carded 77.In the fourth-to-sixth grade boys division, Chris Carson (Madison) led with a round of 39 while Cameron Bozyk (Madison) carded 64. Alex Brevoort (Blissfield) rounded out the top three with a score of 67.In the seventh-to-eighth grade boys division, Nick Spicer (Tecumseh) led with a 48 while Garrett Ramos (Clinton) was second with 53. Michael Braman (LCS) was third with 62.Madison swept the top the spots in the high school girls division with Nicole Olden carding 80, Kayla Bozyk, 86, and Katelyn Payne, 96.In the high school boys division, Andrew Kapnick (Tecumseh) placed first with 82 while Trent Johnson (Madison) followed one stroke behind for second place. Gino Cianciolo carded 84 to finish third out of 25 listed in the division.Carley LaPlant (Tecumseh) was the only golfer listed in the college girls division. She finished with a score of 90.
