Edwin Thomas Hamilton

Edwin Thomas Hamilton, 65, of Monrovia, Calif., passed away on April 19, 2017, in Burbank, Calif.

Ed was born in West Branch, Mich., to Samuel and Vivian Hamilton on Dec. 2, 1951. He graduated from Adrian High School in 1970, where he was a member of the track and cross country teams. He worked as a linesman/cable splicer for various independent contractors on the West Coast for many years.

He was avid sports fan and followed his favorite Michigan teams throughout his life. He stayed true Maize and Blue, cheering on his Wolverines, as well as Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings while living on the West Coast.

Ed is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Vivian Hamilton; two stepparents, Judy Kilby and Howard Kilby; an infant sister and a nephew.

Ed is survived by a daughter; Heather of Tecumseh; three sisters, Barbara (Steve Boyack) Hamilton of New Jersey, Linda Grund of California and Mary Kilby-Coy of Adrian; five brothers, Steve (Katha) Hamilton of Manitou Beach, Jim (Kate) Hamilton of Adrian, John (Patricia) Kilby of Adrian, Frank (Lisa) Kilby of California and Mike Kilby of Manitou Beach; eight nieces and four nephews.
