Dennis Craig Kirk
Dennis Craig Kirk, age 75 of Pinckney, passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019. He was born on March 17, 1943 in Detroit to Paul L. and Victory D. Kirk.
Dennis enjoyed fishing, woodworking, hunting and working with his daughter and daughters-in-law on their projects and being with his kids.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 57 years, Glenda P. Kirk; mother, Victory D. Kirk; sisters, Karen Mindel and Pam Roof; his children, Paul C. Kirk, Laura Fortney, and Eric Kirk; grandchildren, Stefanie Kirk, Kristin Sivyer, Kassandra Beckstrand, Alison Webb, Alexandria Swanson, Samantha Carlisle, David Fortney, Ashley Smith and Jacob Kirk; and great grandchildren Cole and Rowan Kirk, Hudson and Ellivia Sivyer, Addilea, Nora, and Elisha Beckstrand, Piper, Bennington, Finley, and Penelope Webb, Camila Carlisle, Brooklynn Fortney and Noah, Cynthia, Chassity, and Bethany Smith. He was preceded in death by his father Paul L. Kirk, and grandson, Zachary Kirk.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019 at the Tecumseh Church of Christ. Arrangements are under the care of the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes. Condolences may be offered to the family at handlerfuneralhomes.com.
