Dennis Charles Irelan

Dennis Charles Irelan, age 75, of Tecumseh, passed away December 19, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. 

Dennis was born June 20, 1943 in Tecumseh, Mich., the son of Charles O. and Melba (Charlesworth) Irelan. On May 5, 1963 he married Karen Brosamer at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Tecumseh.     

He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean era.  Dennis owned multiple businesses in Tecumseh, the most current being Fabricare Dry Cleaning. 

Dennis is survived by his wife, Karen;  daughters, Kelly (Frank) Londy, Dr. Marnie Grant (Walter) Bolt and  Dr. Corbin (Dr. Nick) Skarich; seven grandchildren; brothers, Jerry Irelan and John (Charlotte) Irelan; and sister, Sandra (Daniel) Laws. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David and Samuel; and sisters, Kendra and Sandra.

A Mass of the Christian Burial to celebrate the life of Dennis will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Tecumseh with Fr. Daniel Wheeler presiding.  Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery with military honors performed by the United States Honor Guard Team.Visitation will be from 4  to 8 p.m., on Friday,  Dec. 21, 2018 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.  Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Helping Hands Ministry at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.  Condolences to the family may be made online at pursefunralhome.com.
