Cynthia Dianne Ashley
Cynthia Dianne Ashley, age 72, of McKenzie, Alabama and formerly of Britton, passed away Friday, July 29, 2016 at Promedica Toledo Hospital. She was born in Greenville, Ala., May 16, 1944 to Henry Derry Skipper and Odean R. Reid. She married James Allen Ashley Feb. 14, 1977 in Toledo. She retired from the Ford Motor Saline Plant.
Her survivors include her husband, James; daughter, Elizabeth Taylor (Brian Snyder) of Tecumseh; sons, Scotty (Michelle) Taylor, Claude (Julie) Taylor and James A. Allen Jr.; nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and half sister, Tammy Morgan of Alabama.
She was predeceased in death by her parents and brother Derry Kim Skipper.
Visitation was on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Cover Funeral Home in Dundee.
The funeral was at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016. Officiating was Pastor Pete Valdez. Interment was in Ridgeway Cemetery.
