Credit card theft suspect confesses

The Tecumseh Police Department posted a statement on its Facebook page at approximately 10 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, saying the Crime Stoppers’ credit card theft case has been resolved.

Police officer Tim Ryan said that a suspect was questioned and admitted to stealing the credit cards. He could not release the suspect’s name until warrants were obtained for her arrest.

Crime Stoppers of Lenawee sought the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the suspect. On March 16 the suspect used stolen credit cards to pay for items at Walgreens and Shopko in Tecumseh.
