Bonnie (Staulter) Polley

On Friday, Jan. 11, 2019 Bonnie (Staulter) Polley, age 70, of Dundee went to be with the Lord at her home surrounded by her family and friends, after a courageous battle with COPD.  She was born April 26, 1948 in Tecumseh to the late Robert and Shirley (Spaven) Staulter.  Bonnie grew up in Tecumseh and attended Tecumseh High School. On Sept. 30, 1966, she married Ken Polley. They had two daughters.  She was a homemaker who loved to cook, shop, and spend time with family, friends, and her cat “Baby”.  She was a wife, sister, mother and nana.

She will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband, Ken; daughters, Tonya Polley and Tara (Don) Collier; sisters, Sandy (Charles) King and Linda (Ellie) Pipkins; grandchildren, Nicole (Chris) Miller, Cortney Bruce, Shawna Bruce, Ronnie Harris, Ashton Polley, and Sarah Collier; five great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday, Jan. 18, 2019 from 2-8 p.m. at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Rik Hilborn officiating with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Brookside Cemetery.  Condolences may be offered to the family at handlerfuneralhomes.com.
