Alice E. Brooks

Alice E. Brooks, age 74, of Allegan, Mich., died November 13, 2018. She was born March 28, 1944, in Munising to Arthur and Amelia (Iverson) Reimer. On October 16, 1962, she married Donald Brooks Sr. in Clinton and he preceded her death on April 19, 2006. She had been self-employed doing home health care and house cleaning. Alice enjoyed dancing, cooking, baking and spending time with her family. She had been a member of Crossroads Church in Custard, Mich.

Alice is survived by: three daughters, Christine (Mike) Colborn of Muskegon, Sherry (Kevin) McClain of Manitou Beach and Kelly Brooks of Colorado Springs; a son, Donnie (Robin) Brooks Jr. of Allegan; 14 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren; four sisters; two brothers; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband Donald, she was preceded in death by: her parents; a daughter, Michelle Brooks in infancy; a granddaughter, Sarah Colborn in infancy; four sisters  and two brothers.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home in Tecumseh with Pastor Tom Hawkins Jr. officiating. Cremation followed services and burial of cremated remains will be at Riverside Cemetery at a later date.  Visitation was held on Sunday from 12-2 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at andersonfuneralservices.com. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designation. Envelopes are available at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Tecumseh Chapel.
