After Prom committee thanks supporters of dodgeball fundraiser
To the Editor,On Sunday, March 15, the Tecumseh High School After Prom Committee held its 8th Annual Dodge Ball Tournament to help fund the “After Prom” party, which will be held on Saturday, April 25. We always see a few new teams and several returning teams year after year. We had 22 teams participate this year and we would like to thank all of these teams for participating and supporting our event. Every year, this event runs flawlessly due to the 25-plus volunteers that help. Thank you to all the volunteers, whether you announced the games, ran clocks, refereed, ran concessions, shagged balls or helped advertise, each one of you played an important role in the day’s success. Thank you to the following local businesses: The Tecumseh Herald, Jets Pizza, and Marco’s Pizza for helping us advertise our event and to The Spotted Cow, Brownies Pizza, and The Sports Hut for donating prizes. Last but not least, thank you to all the spectators who came to support us and cheer the players on. This event would not be the success it has been for the last eight years without all the wonderful community support. The After Prom Committee sincerely thanks everyone who was involved.
